About Ms. Kraus

My name is Emily Kraus, and I am thrilled to be starting my 8th year at West Ridge Middle School. 

I graduated from St. Edward's University with a degree in Mathematics, and later earned my master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on STEM Education. 

I am a proud Austin native, and I am so grateful to be part of the EANES ISD community. I genuinely love math and love teaching it even more. My goal is to make it approachable, enjoyable, and more fun than you'd expect. 

I believe the best classrooms are filled with curiosity, hard work, and a whole lot of laughter, and I can't wait to see what this year has in store!
