Hello Bobcats! My name is Dana Thomas and I am excited to be here for my third year at BPE! Before coming here, I taught for the last 23 years in Katy, right outside of Houston. I was born and raised in Austin and I'm thrilled to be back home. I have a 23 year old daughter and an 19 year old son who are attending Texas State. I am an animal lover and enjoy spoiling my fur babies.  My hobbies include traveling to new places and doing anything outdoors such as tennis, biking, kayaking, or sand volleyball.

My job as an educator is to foster the love and excitement for learning with each and every student! My classroom is where I expect wonder, discovery, collaboration, mistakes, learning, problem solving and  FUN!
