IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Book Spines- for the month of September your student is required to read TWO chapter books of their choice and fill out a "Book Spine". The Book Spine is a book report with a summary, genre, subgenre, reader's favorite part, and drawing. I require a rough draft that needs to be checked by me before students work on their final.
Vocabulary List- during full weeks (no days off) I will assign either vocabulary or spelling list. Students are expected to study outside of class for the quiz on Friday.
Graded Work- please check your student's orange folder for graded work. While Skyward will inform you of their grade, the graded work will explain their grade. I try to include a rubric that is stapled to their work and notes that I make.
