I can't wait for a fun and exciting year! This will be my eleventh year of teaching and my ninth year in Eanes ISD. I spent eight years at VVE, where I taught 4th grade, 5th grade, and served as the GT Specialist. Earlier this year, I co-taught the GT class at BCE. Now, I'm thrilled to be joining the CCE team!

Before teaching in Eanes ISD, I taught 4th grade in Jacksonville, Florida. I'm a native Texan and a UT graduate (go Longhorns!), so I'm overjoyed that I landed back in Austin! 

When I'm not at school, I enjoy reading, going to the movies, playing trivia and word games, and traveling.  I also spend a lot of time on walks and at the park with my dog, Ruby. 

I'm looking forward to an awesome year of learning, creating, and exploring in GT!
