​I can't wait for another wonderful year at Valley View! I'm so excited to be the Gifted & Talented Specialist this year! This will be my ninth year of teaching, and my seventh year at VVE. I have previously been a part of the 4th grade team and the 5th grade team. I love being a Cardinal!

Before teaching at VVE, I taught 4th grade in Jacksonville, Florida. I'm a native Texan and a UT graduate (go Longhorns!), so I'm overjoyed that I landed back in Austin at the best elementary school in Texas! 

When I'm not at school, I enjoy reading, going to the movies, playing trivia and word games, and traveling.  I also spend a lot of time on walks and at the park with my dog, Ruby. 

I'm looking forward to an awesome year of learning, creating, and exploring this year in GT!
