About Me

Hi, 5th Grade!

My name is Caitlyn Coerver, and I am beyond thrilled to be back on the 5th grade team at BCE this year! This is my third year of teaching and my second year in 5th grade. After an incredible year with last year's class, I can't wait to welcome a new group of students and continue building on those wonderful experiences.

I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Applied Learning and Development: All-Level Special Education. I am certified to teach General Education, Special Education, and English as a Second Language.

I'm originally from Houston, Texas, and have always been a proud Longhorn! Growing up, I spent many fall weekends cheering on the Longhorns with my family. Although I now call Austin home, my family is still in Houston, and I love any opportunity to visit.

My goal as a teacher is to create an inclusive, supportive classroom where every student feels safe, valued, and empowered to learn. I believe all students can succeed when they are challenged, encouraged, and celebrated for who they are.

I am so excited for an amazing school year and can't wait to meet all of you!
