Welcome to Cedar Creek! This will be my 4th year at CCE! This will be my 26th year of teaching. WOW! I taught at West University Elementary in Houston for 4 years, 1 year at Spicewood Springs Elementary in Round Rock, and 17 years at Valley View Elementary as a special education teacher.
I graduated from the University of St. Thomas in Houston with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education and a minor in Special Education. In 2012, I decided to attend graduate school. I received my Master's in Education from Texas State University in 2014. I love teaching and can't imagine doing anything else.
I grew up in Houston and moved to Austin in 2004 with my husband, Monty. We have 2 daughters, Madison and Maison. Madison will be a sophomore at Flagler College and play lacrosse! Maison will be in 11th grade at Anderson HS. Both girls play lacrosse and we love watching them play. One of my passions is to take pictures at their games. Check my pictures out on Instagram! My handle is @texaslaxcameramom. My husband and I love listening to live music and go when we can. We have 1 dog, Willie, who is an English Cream Golden Retriever. Willie is a Covid baby and turned 5 in July. He's a sweet boy who makes us so happy!
