Fourth Grade Math and Science
Hi, I’m Kyndra O’Neil, and I’m thrilled to be teaching 4th grade math and science this year at Cedar Creek Elementary! Over the past 17 years in Eanes ISD, I’ve had the opportunity to do a little bit of everything — teaching 1st through 4th grade and working in special education — but I’ve found a true love for teaching the older elementary students. Fourth grade is such a fun and exciting year, and I can’t wait to dive into it with your child!
I’m a native Austinite and grew up attending schools in Round Rock and Leander. I graduated from Texas State University with a degree in Elementary Education and come from a long line of educators — teaching truly runs in the family. I can't imagine doing anything else!
At home, my husband and I have two active and silly boys, Cameron (7) and Devin (5). I am so excited that Devin is starting kindergarten here at Cedar Creek this year! As a family, we love being outdoors, traveling, swimming, and playing or watching sports together. Personally, I enjoy reading, exercising, hiking, relaxing at the lake, and getting hooked on a good TV series.
In our classroom, my goal is to create a warm, welcoming space where each child feels safe, supported, and eager to learn. I believe in fostering strong relationships, tailoring instruction to meet individual needs, and encouraging collaboration. I want to help every student do their best, be their best, and have fun along the way!
