I am excited to be back at BCE for my 5th year teaching 4th grade. I was born and raised in the DFW area. I have now been in Austin for 4 years after previously living in SW Colorado for 7. I have two kids. My step-daughter lives in Denton. My daughter is a Sr. at WHS this year and a proud member of the Chap Band. We adopted a bully-breed dog this past year who keeps us busy. I like to read books, go to the gym, listen to music, watch movies, try new restaurants, and spend time in the outdoors. Teaching is a 2nd career for me and I enjoy the challenges and joys of teaching kids in the upper-elementary grades.
