Course Overview
English IV provides an intensive study of composition during which students will employ the stages of the composition process including prewriting, writing, and revision. The course also includes an in-depth study of British and other selected literature with historical background, literary analysis, and outside reading assignments. Students will explore literature through discussion and writing.
