About Me (pronouns: she/her)

I'm so excited to be returning to BPE as your speech-language pathologist for the fifth year! My family and I moved here from Georgia in 2021 for my husband's job. Both of my children attend Hill Country. We have two spunky rescue dogs named Mei Ling and Rosalind.

I have 18 years of experience as an SLP, with most of my time having been in the elementary school setting. I received both my degrees from UGA. Gooooo Dawgs! I have been learning and practicing American Sign Language with a Deaf tutor for many years to support my special interest in working with deaf/hoh children. I also know a little Mandarin. Another fun fact: I am a professional voice/stage actor and singer, and I've narrated several audiobooks. I am thrilled about this school year and helping the students at BPE grow in their communication and language skills!
