Welcome to 1st Grade!

My name is Alexis Price and I am so excited to be teaching your child this year. This will be my 11th year teaching at Bridge Point Elementary--I spent my first 6 years teaching third grade and am so excited to start my 5th year teaching first grade! This year I get the pleasure of being on the Spanish Immersion side. I'm looking forward to having two groups of kiddos and partnering with Mrs. Scott. 

I am a former Bridge Point student and was part of the first class to enter Bridge Point in 1997. I attended BPE, Hill Country and Westlake HS and decided as much as I loved the great state of Texas, to obtain an out-of-state college experience and attended University of North Carolina at Wilmington. After obtaining my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education in 2012, I returned back to Austin to begin my Master's Degree at Texas State University and substitute teach in Eanes ISD. I obtained my Master's Degree in Elementary Education in 2016 and received my ESL certification in 2018. I am beyond thankful for this wonderful opportunity to share my passion for learning with your child and look forward to getting to know each and every one of you.
