I've been an educator for thirty three years, and there is no doubt that teaching the gifted and talented students at Bridge Point is the most fulfilling teaching opportunity I've been lucky enough to experience!
After graduating from The University of Texas at Austin in 1992 (Hook ‘Em Horns!), I began my career in the G.T. classroom in New Braunfels. Two years later I joined the remarkable staff at Cedar Creek Elementary. There I spent a decade teaching 4th and 5th grades at Cedar Creek where I was fortunate enough to work with extremely talented teachers and students.
In 2004 I left Eanes and went to the Austin Jewish Academy where I taught 4th grade general studies and 6th grade math. Additionally, I served as the Athletic Director for the school and coach for the volleyball, basketball, and soccer teams.
In 2010 I returned to Eanes and joined the Bridge Point team :-). I'm delighted to be spending my 16th year as the Gifted and Talented Specialist at Bridge Point; it is an honor and a pleasure to work with such an amazing group of students, parents, faculty and staff!
