Welcome!

Hello! I am so privileged to be the nurse at Bridge Point Elementary. I have been a nurse for 22 years and I truly love it! It's never dull and keeps my mind fresh and my hands dry and scaly from washing them a million times a day.

I grew up in San Antonio and went to the University of Texas (Hook 'em!) for college/nursing school. I've worked primarily at St. David's hospital in the maternity unit and surgery. I moved to school nursing after sub nursing in EISD. This is my seventh year as a full time school nurse and it is super fun!

My husband (Jeff) and I have been married 20 years and have two beautiful daughters. Cate is a sophomore at WHS and plays on the JV volleyball team and also plays club for Austin Junior Volleyball. Lane is in 7th grade at HCMS and plays volleyball for HCMS and is the goalie for her two lacrosse teams. My favorite family member is my dog Chewy, a super happy golden doodle that doesn't require me to carpool her anywhere and keeps the drama to a minimum. Her favorite activities are racing to the pantry when she hears the bread wrapper and howling at fire truck sirens. And sleeping.
