About Me

Hello Hill Country 6th graders!

I’m originally from New York but have been calling Austin home since 2021. Prior to moving to Austin, I spent 2016–2021 living in the United Arab Emirates, teaching at international schools and immersing myself in the culture of the country.

I love spending time outdoors — you can usually find me paddleboarding or exploring new cycling routes. When I'm not outdoors being active, my weekends are usually spent cheering on the Longhorns on Saturday and being let down by the New York Jets on Sunday.

My educational philosophy centers on connecting with students and building their confidence in math. I strongly believe there’s no such thing as “not being a math person” — everyone is capable of learning and succeeding with the right support and encouragement. I’m really looking forward to getting to know all of you and continuing the great work happening in this class!
