Math 6/7

The Math 6/7 course will be an accelerated program designed to prepare the student to eventually study Algebra I in the eighth grade. This course consists of 6th and 7th grade TEKS and will have a strong emphasis on relating math to the real world through critical thinking and mathematical reasoning. Because this is combining 6th and 7th grade curricula, it is a fast paced course that covers number and operations; proportionality; expressions, equations & relationships; and measurement & data. Students will become fluent in all operations of rational numbers. Students will be expected to score 80% or higher on major assessments.
