Welcome! I’m Heather Goldman, and I’m excited to be starting another exciting year in second grade!

Teaching is truly my passion, and I feel so lucky to be part of the Barton Creek Elementary community. After taking time off to stay home with my three children, I returned to the classroom six years ago—and I’ve loved every minute of it.

A little about my family: My husband Jerry and I have three amazing kids. Our oldest, Bryce, is a proud graduate of the University of Georgia and now works here in Austin. Our daughter Allie is currently attending the University of Tennessee, and our youngest, Hayes, will be a sophomore at Westlake High School.

When I’m not in the classroom, you’ll likely find me spending time with my family and friends, curled up with a good book, planning our next travel adventure, or relaxing with my dogs. I’m also a big sports fan—especially when it comes to college football and basketball!

I believe strong partnerships between home and school make a big difference, so please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions, concerns, or just to say hello. I’m looking forward to a year full of learning, growth, and fun!
