Hello and welcome to Mr. Reyes’ class!
I am excited to be a part of your learning experience in middle school.
I have had the privilege of teaching and training employees in different companies and different cities. I have also worked as a Spanish teacher in high school, and as a substitute teacher in elementary, middle, and high school. I am passionate about helping students succeed and hope to inspire them in their future academic careers.
Here is a little bit about me:
I was born and raised in San Luis Potosí, México, a beautiful city in the central part of the country with many tourist attractions. In 1995, my wife Raquel and I moved to Austin Texas and we have lived here since then. I completed my Associate degree in foreign language (Spanish) from the Austin Community College, and a few years later I obtained a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences from Texas State University. Since I love to learn, teach, and train, I continued my education at Texas State University and earned a Master of Education in Management of Technical Education.
I look forward to serving as your instructor this school year. I know that together we can create a positive classroom environment where students feel comfortable sharing their ideas, asking questions, getting involved in the learning process, and improving day by day. By creating this classroom atmosphere, I hope to help you accomplish an important step in your future endeavors.
