7/8 Mathematics
Math 7/8 is a course designed for students to understand content guided by the Grade 7 & Grade 8 Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills. The primary focal areas of this math course are proportionality; expressions, multi-step equations, relationships, and foundations of functions; and measurement and data. TI - 84 Graphing calculators will be introduced and used during the year.

Please purchase a 5 sectioned spiral so that we have LOTS of Notebook Paper for SHOWING WORK. You can also purchase notebook paper and put it in a binder for math class.
Lots of SHARPENED pencils - please turn in a package of at least 12 to Coach Finch the 1st week of school
Highly recommended: TI-84 Calculator - having your own is very helpful and you will use it throughout high school, on SAT & college for math/science courses.
