Welcome Chaps! I am very excited to be teaching US History for the 2025-2026 school year at Westlake High School.

This will be my 2nd Year at Westlake High School, and I'm very excited for this new opportunity. This will be my 9th year in education with previous teaching and coaching positions at Lindale High School (23-24) and Marshall High School (17-22) in East Texas. 

I am originally from Gladewater, Texas where I was a student-athlete in basketball and baseball at Sabine High School. I later was a four-year letterman and four-year starter for the baseball program at East Texas Baptist University in Marshall, Texas from 2014-2017. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology from ETBU as well as a Master's of Science in Kinesiology Degree from ETBU. 

I will be serving as an Assistant Coach for the Football Program as well as the Pitching Coach/Coordinator for the Baseball Program. I'm excited to be apart of the Westlake family.
