About me:
Hello, My name is Tim Livingston and I am the new history teacher at Elma High School and this will be my 26th year of teaching. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in History Education from Central Washington University and a Masters degree in curriculum design. In addition I am also a National Board Certified Teacher in Social Studies. I am teaching in Elma after spending 7 years teaching overseas at the American Community School of Beirut. I am really looking forward to teaching back in Washington State and getting to know my new students. Outside of teaching I have many interests which include: Traveling, hiking, fishing, bicycle riding, and restoring classic cars. I hope that we have a great year!
This picture was taken outside of the "Livingston" House on the island of Zanzibar. Dr. David Livingstone is a distant relative and we went to see where he lived and worked on one of our travels.
