The annual ERA Pit Fire

Annual ERA Pit Fire celebrates the tradition, culture, and spirit of Eagle Ridge Academy. Student ceramic works, from grades 7-12, were fired following ancient traditions in a fire within an eight foot ring. The pit is fired for 4-6 hours reaching temperatures of 1850°F. Flames of the fire magically weave their way around the pots to create different colors and effects. It is a tradition that the students and art department look forward to every year!
