Given the large number of constituents who wish to provide public comment, statements are limited to 3 minutes per person. Limiting statements to 3 minutes encourages constituents to be focused and direct, and permits more people to testify. There may be circumstances where time will not allow for all those who sign up to speak. In that event, Eagle County staff will be in touch with information on the next opportunity for public comment and how to participate.

We have prepared guidelines for the applicant, ourselves, and the public. These are the COVID-19 requirements for site visit attendance:
YOU MUST WEAR FACE COVERINGS DURING THE SITE VISIT AND FOLLOW ALL SOCIAL DISTANCING REQUIREMENTS.
If you are sick or have symptoms consistent with COVID-19, you should stay home.
Maintain adequate distance between you and others of at least 6 feet.
Do not shake hands or engage in unnecessary physical contact
This option allows constituents to provide live public comment during a public hearing from the comfort and safety of your home. After completing this form, you will receive an email confirmation of your submission. 24 to 48 hours prior to the hearing, you will receive an email with instructions. We utilize Google Meet, which allows participants to join either by video or phone.
This form does not close and you can sign up for virtual participation during the hearing. However, we encourage you to sign up in advance and practice joining so we are able to provide assistance, if needed, prior to the hearing.

In this form, you have two options:
Type comments directly into the form.
Submit a previously prepared document. (The form will prompt you to email your document to hearingcomments@eaglecounty.us )
We encourage written comments to be sent by 5:00pm the Friday BEFORE of the hearing, to allow time for elected and appointed officials to review the submission prior to the hearing.
This video is linked directly to Eagle County Government TV and will broadcast the live planning commission hearings. If you have chosen to participate virtually, once your hearing has started, you will want to watch within the meeting because there is a 30-second delay in the TV broadcast.
