Hi! My name is Kyla Gustavel and I am a senior at Alden High School. I am involved in Varsity cheerleading, competitive gymnastics and theater. This fall I will attend SUNY Brockport.
Sylvia is a junior at Alden High School. She is a sales representative, contacting and communicate with customers, making sure their order goes smoothly. She participates in softball. Sylvia also thinks that the crust of the pizza is the best part. She is also the comapny's secretary.
Jordan is a junior at Alden High School. He is a business sales representative, connecting with businesses to offer products Bulldog manufacturing sells. He participates in soccer and hockey. He loves to go out on boats and just being on water.
Nathaniel is a junior at Alden High School. He is a marketing representative, designing promotional images to be used for social media and the Bulldog MFG website. He participates in theater, and he owns 2 pieces of coal from the Titanic.
Brooke is a junior at Alden High School. She is a designer, creating different designs for products and engraves the image on the product. She participates in soccer, and she performs well on the hurdles in track, yet she's one of the shortest on her team.

Description: This session will focus on the benefits of being on a robotics team in the FIRST program. With first-hand experience, you will hear how robotics impacted and grew the students presenting. You will also see and drive the robot built for the 2022-2023 season
We are a robotics team at Alden, NY that has 16 students in the FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) organization. FIRST helps teach STEM to students across the world through robotics. We have been a team since 2015, and we have recently won the Motivate Award for outreaching and spreading STEM in our community during the 2022-2023 season.
Description: High school students have found inspirational women in STEM careers to provide advice on educational and career pathways for women in STEM.
Brianna is a sophomore at Alden High School. She has been involved in ATLAS team since 2021 and is on the special events team. She is also currently the teams Vice President. She has done many Women in STEM career panel discussions. Outside of the team she is also involved in Robotics, Yearbook, Student Congress, Donate Life, Youth Against Cancer, Athletic Association and apart of Alden's Varsity Soccer and Basketball team. Every year Brianna also runs an inclusive kickball game for Alden Middle and High School. After high school Brianna would like to pursue a future in sports medicine.
Description: Our Global Connections project presentation is to express our passion for learning about different cultures and aspects of people's day-to-day lives. We hope, by introducing our Global Connections project to the public, we will be able to expand our knowledge to others. Hopefully, our presentation will spark the interest of many others and welcome them to join our Global Connections journey.
My name is Summer and I am a sophomore at Alden High School. I have been a cheerleader for about 12 years. I am a co-president of the Friends of Rachel. After I graduate high school, I plan to become a nurse so that I can help others.

My name is Arianna and I am a sophomore at Alden High School. Currently I am enrolled in Computer Applications and involved in Global Connections. I am passionate about website design and global interactions. I am involved in varsity bowling. After high school I plan on pursuing a degree in law.
Description: This session will teach the audience more about technical theater, and what goes behind the scenes of a production. The audience will get an in-depth look at the technology we have at Alden High School, including a video demonstration from our two techs, Josh and Braden, showing how it's used for a theatrical production.
My name is Braden, and I'm part of Alden's ATLAS team, (Alden Technology Leaders as Students) the school's Robotics team, and the theater club. I'm also part of the school's, Student Congress. This year, I wanted to present a session like this at IMPACT because I've done the lighting for two school productions, and I'm excited to have the opportunity to teach more students about this technology.
My name is Josh, and I am a part of the ATLAS, robotics, and theater club at Alden High School. I have done the sound for four school theater productions so far. I am presenting to help get more people interested and involved in technical theater.

This session will go in-depth to how this team operates and its history. The opportunities and experience the ATLAS team gives to the kids will also be highlighted.
Sylvia is a sophomore at Alden High School. She has been apart of the ATLAS team for two years and is the current treasurer. She's involved in many different parts of ATLAS including the help desk, special events team, and fundraising committee. Her extracurricular activities are cross country, bowling, track, and student congress. Her plans after high school are to go to college for a math or technology major.
Description: The Smart Scholars students will do a short presentation on the Unity Game Engine and C# coding language. Presenters will code a simple game 'live' using Unity. Participants watching will be able to play some of the games that the group has created after the presentation

11th grader at Hutch Tech with a passion for video game design and coding. Thomas has been teaching video game design to his classmates in an after school club at Hutch Tech.
Description: Connor's robotics club at Frontier has been 3D printing, painting and is beginning to code their own Wall-E robot. Eventually, they plan on adding AI aspects to the code as well.
Connor is a junior at Frontier CSD. He has taken courses in Python, Java, and AP CSP at Frontier. Presently, he is taking web tech and game programming at Potter Road BOCES.

Description: Students who have gone through Lew-Port Innovation Experience (previously Honor's Project) will be sharing the experiences they had within the program. After a brief presentation highlighting the benefits of Innovation and its lasting impacts, a panel of alumni will be available to answer any questions.
Description: Graduates from Lew-Port Innovation Experience (formerly Honor's Project) will lead a workshop showcasing some of the "hands-on mini lessons" used within the Innovation Program. This workshop will feature makey-makeys and other creative technology to inspire unique, engaging learning.
Brynn is a Lewiston-Porter Senior and 2019 graduate from the Innovation Experience Program. Throughout high school, she has served as her class president, a student mentor for current Innovation students, along with numerous other extracurriculars. She is passionate about advocating for social change within her school and community. Starting in the fall of 2023, she will be attending American University in Washington, D.C. where she will be studying CLEG (Communication, Legal Institutions, Economics, and Government).
Michael is a current senior at Lew-Port. He is a member of the Restorative Practices and DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging) Team. He is the Vice President of the class of 2023. Outside of school, Michael was a member of the varsity competition cheerleading team and plays the trumpet.
Dominic is a 2022 Lew-Port graduate, and completed the Innovation program in 2018. He is a current student at SUNY Fredonia where he studies Music Education. At Fredonia, he is a part of the Student Opera Theatre Association where he serves as the secretary and a lead performer. He also is involved with the American Choral Directors Association where he serves as a social chair, the College Choir, and an acapella group.
