Elementary and middle school students showcase their passion-driven projects through this student-led conference, demonstrating how innovation and problem-solving can create real change.
Through the Consortium for Student Empowerment Through Innovation (CSETI) program, students engage in project-based learning, leveraging their interests to address challenges in their communities. Whether exploring sustainable fishing, reinventing fashion, or designing electric vehicles, students develop critical thinking, public speaking, and leadership skills—becoming the next generation of changemakers.

Centering Student Vocie.mp4The event has grown and evolved over the years, expanding opportunities for students to showcase their ideas and innovations. What began as individual school districts hosting their own events has transformed into a regional celebration, bringing together students from across Western New York in an exciting, collaborative space. At the same time, the WNYIT Student Technology Conference, first held in 2020, provided a platform for students to explore emerging technologies. These two events have now merged into a single, dynamic experience—empowering students of all ages to share their passions, connect with peers, and inspire change in their communities.
