Creator Series

What is the Creator Series?

The CSLO WNYRIC Creator Series is a live or asynchronous regional offering that focuses on the use of educational technology tools to enhance teaching and learning. All sessions will be presented virtually. Each series offering will guide teachers toward completing a finished product to utilize in their classroom.

All Creator Series sessions are offered after school hours to remove the need for substitutes and sub plans. Two hours of CTLE credit will be awarded for the completion of each session and the submission of a completed project.

There are two pathways to participate in the Creator Series sessions;

  1. Live (Virtual) - Registered attendees will participate in a live webinar hosted by an Erie 1 BOCES Technology Coordinator and a teacher from a local school district. Participants will be guided through the use of the educational technology tool being presented and questions will be answered in live time. Participants will be given time to work on and submit their completed project for CTLE credit, however projects can be submitted at any time during the month in which the presentation takes place.

2 Hour CTLE Credit/Hours = 1 hour of live webinar and 1 hour of work time with submission of completed project.

  1. Asynchronous (Virtual) - Registered attendees will view a recording of the live webinar hosted by an Erie 1 BOCES Technology Coordinator and a teacher from a local school district. Participants will be expected to watch the entire presentation and complete the required project in order to receive CTLE credit for the session. All projects are due by the end of the month in which the live presentation took place.

2 Hour CTLE Credit/Hours = 1 hour viewing of pre-recorded webinar and 1 hour of work time with submission of completed project.
