About Me

I am a Technology Coordinator for the Western New York Regional Information Center. (WNYRIC)

My day to day responsibilities primarily involve Professional Development Workshops designed to help teachers use technology to enhance learning and productivity.

Additionally, I am co-chair of the ISTE Virtual Environments Network which promotes the use of Games, Simulations, and Virtual Environments to promote learning.

With the WNYRIC, I have been the project director of the NY State Department of Education Grant Funded project: The Islands of Enlightenment an Open Sim Virtual Environment that allows students to use Avatars to build create and participate in simulated content based projects. Lastly, I have a Blog and Podcast, Coffee with a Geek, as well as, the Edtech Talk Live Blog (OETC Ohio) that involves interviewing Educational Leaders from around the world.
