Disinformation, misinformation and malinformation - what are the challenges in the era of gnerative AI?
The Romanian wordplay "AI carte, AI parte" cleverly exploits the double meaning of "AI," which can refer to both "artificial intelligence" and "you have." In this context, the phrase can be translated as "You have code, you have a share," aiming to maintain the play on words between "AI" (understood as "artificial intelligence") and "AI parte" (interpreted as "having a share"). This translation captures the essence of the original wordplay while incorporating the specific meaning of "AI" in the context of artificial intelligence.
In an age of ever-expanding digital technology, academia is facing unprecedented challenges, particularly in terms of teaching, learning and assessment processes. The MEDDICS team was invited to host a webinar within the UVT Doctoral School, a reflective and informative foray into the complex universe of academic ethics and integrity in the context of the digital age.
One of the topics of greatest interest lately is the impact of generative artificial intelligence, with a special focus on tools like ChatGPT. We invite you to closely explore the specific challenges and strategies needed to navigate this complex territory of academic evaluation and research in an ethical and equitable manner.
On the other hand, in the era of generative artificial intelligence, teachers find themselves in a crucial dilemma: "AI carte? AI parte!", digital ethics and academic integrity thus becoming fundamental to maintaining the integrity of the assessment process, despite technological pressure.
Thus, we invite you to take part in the discussions and analysis of this webinar, where we will debate and offer solutions for promoting academic ethics and integrity in a fast-paced digital age.
