Financial Aid/FAFSA

WE ENCOURAGE ALL GRADUATING STUDENTS EACH YEAR TO APPLY FOR FINANCIAL AID TO HELP THEM PAY FOR VOCATIONAL/TRADE SCHOOLS OR COLLEGE.

Benefits of completing a FAFSA application

1. Maricopa Community Colleges offer certifications in most trade or vocational school fields of study as well as Associate Degrees at a MORE ECONOMIC COST THAN private school programs.

2. Simply by applying, students can find out if they qualify for a grant (money that does not have to be paid back). FILLING OUT A FAFSA APPLICATION IS FREE TO ALL STUDENTS.

3. FILLING OUT AN APPLICATION IS FREE AND CAN TAKE AS LITTLE AS 45 MINUTES WITH JUST A FEW DOCUMENTS (See document list below).

4. There is no financial obligation to filling out an application. The financial information that is requested is only used to determine a families financial need and is determined mostly on income.

5. Even if you do not qualify for a grant filling out a FAFSA allows you access to state and school scholarships.

6. Applying can determine your eligibility for work study or part time campus jobs that do not interfere with your classes.

7. Make an appointment with Mr. Gardner for assistance in filling out the application or go online by clicking on the link below. Spanish translation will be available on all e-Institute campuses and Taylion offices.

IF YOU CHOOSE TO APPLY FROM HOME, PLEASE NOTIFY ME WHEN YOU HAVE COMPLETED YOUR FAFSA SO THAT I CAN KEEP A RECORD OF IT FOR SCHOOL PURPOSES.
