Meet an Expert 

Claire is director of education with the Detroit Zoological Society. She facilitates educational programs for a variety of audiences, including schools. Claire led the research and creation of this content in collaboration with the education team. 

Stephen is the curator of humane education with the Detroit Zoological Society. He develops and facilitates education programs that help participants develop the attitudes, knowledge, and skills to take action to help animals and the environment. His expertise includes environmental ethics, structured decision making, and human-wildlife conflict mitigation.
