Participants will take on the role of stream ecologist where they will observe biotic and abiotic factors in a stream or river and record their findings in the Water Quality Mobile App. The app includes data entry, identification, and learning features about chemical, physical, and biological water-quality parameters. The app also allows participants to view data collected by other users. Teachers have the flexibility to participate regularly, or occasionally, and can choose parameters based upon the needs and skill level of their students.
