Students may bring their own daily snack. Snacks should not be candy and only take your child about 5 minutes to eat. This shouldn't be messy but something quick and easy.
Some good ideas for snacks would be crackers, pretzels, carrots (no dressing), apples, and/or grapes.
Store bought treats can be sent in with your student to celebrate on the last Friday of the month.
Store bought treats should be dropped off before school starts to avoid interruptions.
Be mindful of nut allergies and possibly gluten allergies. We do have students with nut allergies and sometimes dairy allergies. Please read all ingredients. Some parents provide an extra snack like fruit snacks for those who can't have dairy.
Individually wrapped items like Twinkies or snack-pack cookies/treats are easiest to pass out and best due to COVID.
Invitations to birthday parties need to be passed out before or after school.
If you are not inviting the whole class, please be discreet. They need to immediately go into backpacks.
