Virtual Calming Room

A healthy escape using anxiety reduction and relaxation techniques to provide healthy outlets for stressful times. We are operating in uncharted territory right now and many things are still unknown. During stressful times, we often forget to take care of ourselves. Part of my role is to help students, staff, and families learn the importance of self-care. You might feel scared, confused, overwhelmed, angry, alone, grateful or completely calm. You might feel many things throughout the days or all at once, your feelings are normal; the situation may not be. The Virtual Calming Room is a place for students, families and staff to find tools and strategies for managing emotions and feelings and building our resilience during this transition after the pandemic. I am here to support you!
