About Me

Hello,

My name is Nicole Truitt. Welcome to the Dysart Unified School District, a district dedicated to preparing students for excellence and success throughout their journey in life. The district’s mission is to create a safe, diversified and engaging learning environment where every student attains academic excellence and is empowered to achieve life-long success.

I have been teaching music in the Dysart District since 2002. I was a Kingswood Knight for four years and a Western Peaks Falcon for five. I joined the West Point Wildcat family in 2011. I earned a B.A. in Music from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA and a Masters of Teaching from Grand Canyon University. I have been married for 26 years to an amazing husband and have three wonderful children, currently ages 17 1/2, 16, and 14.

I am looking forward to a wonderful year getting to know and teaching each student in the Wildcat family.
