Introduction:

Hello and welcome to Spanish Class

 My name is Mrs. Esmeralda Ortega and I am so excited to meet both you and your student.

I have taught 15 years in the Dysart Unified School District.   I graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Bilingual Education and a Master's Degree in Reading Education.  

The curriculum for the school year will focus on speaking, reading, vocabulary, writing, and grammar in Spanish. I will also be implementing lots of technology throughout each lesson.  My goal for this school year is to provide a creative, positive, and future ready learning environment for your child. I hope that you and I can work together to make that goal possible. We are a TEAM!
