Miss Kristan King

Welcome to our Kindergarten site. I am so excited to be a Maverick - living the dream in Kindergarten! I love my job, 2020-21 begins my seventeenth year. My experience has mostly been in primary grades. I moved from Colorado to Arizona in 2015 to be closer to my family. I have taught 1st grade, 5th grade, and this begins my tenth year in Kindergarten. In 2012 I received my Master's in Education, emphasis in Curriculum & Instruction: Elementary Literacy. Students learn when they feel loved and safe - I look forward to creating relationships with each of our students, together we can learn and grow.
