Math:

Reading: Unit 1: Week 2:

    • Phonemic Awareness: (sounds in words)
      • blend sounds in short i words
      • segment sounds in a word /c/ /a/ /t/
      • change first sound in words to make new words
    • Phonics: (matching letter to the sounds in words)
      • blend and decode CVC and VC words (consonant-vowel-consonant, and vowel-consonant)
      • Spelling patterns using short a. (Spelling Words: if, pin*, rip*, is, fit)
      • *remember these words are going to be used on the spelling test following the similar spelling phonics pattern. Example: If you can spell sat, then you should be able to spell cat, mat, fat...etc. and the same for man.
