Welcome to First Grade!

My name is Michelle Marin, and I have the pleasure of being your child's first grade teacher. I have been an educator since 1996, and I began my career as a third grade teacher in Santa Barbara, CA. I moved to Arizona in 1999 and I have been teaching in the Dysart School district ever since. This is the beginning of my 28th year teaching, and my 25th year as a Dysart teacher. I spent 17 years in Kindergarten, but made the transition to first grade 8 years ago. Canyon Ridge has been my home for the past 9 years and I absolutely love my school family. Teaching the littles is my passion, and I can’t wait to meet all of my new students!
