Hello,
My name is Angel Vasquez and I am the 8th grade Science teacher here at El Mirage Elementary. I am going on my 7th year of teaching, all at this amazing school. I started my first year as a special education teacher, followed by a year of teaching 7th grade science. The following year I looped up with an amazing group and found myself teaching ELA. This year I am back at science.
Education
Undergraduate: Arizona State University ASU BA: Elementary and Special Education, highly certified to teach middle school ELA, math and science.
Post-Graduate: Northern Arizona University, State: AZ MED:Instructional Leadership K-12
Work Experience
This will be my 7th year teaching and proud to say all at El Mirage Elementary. I was a special education teacher my first year, followed by a year teaching 7th grade science. I was fortunate enough to loop with an amazing group and found myself teaching 8th grade ELA making this my 5th year with the subject.
