August/September 2019: Number sense-operations and ratios and proportions

For most of August students will work with decimals and fractions. This includes multiplication and division of whole numbers, factoring and finding multiples of number sets, adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing decimals and we will also include dividing fractions.

Starting around the beginning of September students will begin working with ratios and rational thinking. Students will explore unit rate and comparative "size", while focusing on real-world problems.
