Mrs. Hall

Hello!  My name is Denise Hall.  I am a 2nd grade teacher at Riverview School.  This is my 30th year of teaching and my 14th year at Riverview.  I have taught Kindergarten, first, and second grades.  I have a Bachelor's and a Master's Degree in Elementary Education with endorsements in Early Childhood Education and Structured English Immersion.  My husband, Jeremy, and I have been married for 31 years!  He is a math teacher at Shadow Ridge High School.  We have two children, Aryka and Aaron.  Aryka is 26 and is a Biology teacher at Shadow Ridge High School.  She has been married to her husband, Preston, for six years.  He works in IT security.  Aryka and Preston have two boys.  Asher is three years old, and Malachi 16 months old.  We have a third grandbaby due in February!  I am hoping for a girl!  I love being a Grammy!  Aaron is 23 and is a Math teacher at Shadow Ridge High School.  Yes, they all teach at Shadow Ridge!

Our family loves to travel, hike, camp, fish, study the Bible, and play with our two dogs, Buttercup and Biscuit.  We also have three rough green snakes named Arty, Hiss, and Green Bean.  This past summer, we took our grandsons camping for the first time!

I love to read, take pictures and edit them on the computer, garden, and decorate my home.  I am looking forward to getting to know you and your child this school year.  I am excited to be teaching 2nd grade, and I know your child will love being a part of our classroom!
