Sergeant Sean Gannon & Nero
The Sergeant Sean Gannon Memorial Scholarship
Sean Gannon was a skilled police officer and K-9 handler and more importantly, an exemplary human being who always served others. Sean was murdered in the line of duty while serving an arrest warrant. This scholarship is just one of the ways we remember him and extend his legacy of service through its recipient.

Criteria ~
The student must be:
A Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School student in good standing
A resident of the Town of Yarmouth, Massachusetts
Attending a college or university as a Criminal Justice or Emergency Mangement major and,
Pursuing a career in law enforcement
Unaffiliated with the YPRA
Gannon Scholarship recipient Emily Badach with Yarmouth Police SRO Nick Pasquarosa
Emily Badach is the 2024 recipient of the Sergeant Sean Gannon Memorial Scholarship. Emily became a Dennis-0Yarmouth Police Explorer the moment she turned 14 and rose to lead the group. Post graduation, Emily was hired by the Dennis Police Department as a community service office for the summer. She is now pursuing her criminal justice degree.
The Sergeant Thomas Robinson Memorial Scholarship
Tom Robinson was a beloved Yarmouth Police patrol supervisor. He was a former Juvenile officer. Cancer took him in the 30th year of his career.

The student must be:
A Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School student in good standing
A resident of the Town of Yarmouth, Massachusetts
Attending a college or university as a Criminal Justice major and,
Pursuing a career in law enforcement
Unaffiliated with the YPRA
The Thomas Minckler Memorial Scholarship
Thomas Minckler was a Yarmouth Police Officer who was a pioneer police K-9 handler. Tom was a national champion competitor in that discipline. He was also a former D-Y track coach. Disease took him before his time.
