Before school is out, all incoming Dennis-Yarmouth Middle School students choose a book to read over the summer from 40 titles. Each of these books is sponsored by a DYMS faculty or community member and they include everything from laugh-out-loud graphic novels to thrilling mysteries to immersive nonfiction. It's all about sharing the joy of reading. In the fall, students will gather with their book group for a book discussion!

This website is to help students select their summer reading title. Click on a book cover to learn more about a title, find it on the Sora reading app, or place it on hold at the public library. All Summer Reading titles can be found in this Sora collection. Need help accessing the Sora app? Use this guide.

This year, if a title is offered both in a graphic novel and traditional format, students may choose which version they would like to read.
