This month was focused solely on taking and reviewing data:
We reviewed our data that we took on our student's social and emotional skills
From there, we decided where we need to focus our curriculum these areas include:
Conflict Resolution
Empathy and Understanding
We are now focused on creating a curriculum that will address those areas
A lot of time has been focused on the 504 process and ironing out individual 504 plans
Our job with students is to:
Manage and create schedules
Check in and support with student's social and emotional wellbeing
Assist with Crisis Prevention
Provide academic check ins
Facilitate mediation between students
Provide certain aspects of community outreach in tandem with our school social worker, Josh Steele
Provide free hygiene products to all students
Manage Section 504 plans for each grade
