Bailey Walker is a dance artist, choreographer, and educator originally from Salt Lake City, Utah. She received her Bachelor of Science in Dance Education from Southern Utah University. Bailey is excited and honored to be in her third season with Contemporary Dance Wyoming. She serves as JRC Co-Director and School Faculty for the School at Dancers’ Workshop and is a register yoga teacher RYT 200.
Bailey has a deep passion for teaching, choreography, dance film, sound design, and costume design. Bailey’s choreography has been presented at the American Collegiate Dance Association conference, as well as the Red Rock Dance Film Festival.
Bailey has had the privilege to learn from and perform works choreographed by Alexandra Bradshaw-Yerby, Nick Blaylock, Larry Keigwin, Danielle Lydia Sheather, Courtney Mazeika, Francesca Romo, and Yin Yue. Bailey’s philosophy is to always be delighted by the little things, and to bring the Joy of Dance to each performance, class and creation.
