Salary Information
These salaries are paid in Vietnamese Dong (VND).
Monthly Salary shall be paid to employee's Vietnamese Bank account.
Housing Allowance
VND 31,000,000-36,000,000 (in cash)
Provided Monthly: The housing allowance, quoted in contracts, is paid along with salary and is taxed at the same rate as salary. Teachers are not required to produce rental evidence to receive the allowance, and may live for whatever rental amount they choose, or contribute to a mortgage.
Settling in Allowance
VND 25,000,000 (in cash) non-taxable
Up to 7 days in pre-arranged accommodation paid for by the School.
Visa fees
Visa fees for employees are covered by the School and is non-taxable.
Agreed dependents' visa fees are paid by the school and the tax amount is covered by the employees.
Airfare
One-way economy class international airfare to Hanoi is provided at the start of employment and round-trip is provided annually. Agreed dependents are covered. Employee airfare is non-taxable, agreed dependents' airfare is taxable. Airfare is purchased through the school travel agency.
One-way economy class international airfare from Hanoi at the end of contract is taxable for Employee and dependents.

Insurance
TieCare International Plus
Provides annual medical coverage throughout the world, with the exception of the United States and Canada, where it covers Emergency Medical Treatment only.
This insurance policy includes Emergency Evacuation, Dental, Maternity, Vision and a Wellness Benefit.
Medical insurance expense for employees is covered by the School and is non-taxable.
Agreed dependents' medical insurance expense are paid by the school and the tax amount is covered by the employees.
Leaves
School holidays as per the reporting and leave schedule
Sick Leave Days: 5 days
Personal Leave Days: 2 days
Compassionate Leave: Up to 5 days
Contract Completion Bonus
Paid as a contract completion bonus at the end of each two year contract
