It is my privilege to be a third grade teacher at Stevens Elementary. I am excited to be starting my 31st year working at Stevens Elementary. Before teaching 3rd grade, I taught 5th grade, was a Title 1 teacher, and was an Individualized Learning Development Assistant.

I grew up on a farm south of Dawson and was blessed to attend school at Dawson-Boyd from K-12. I graduated from the University of Minnesota- Morris with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. I have taken several classes at SMSU to further my education.

My husband's name is Terry and we have two children: Easton, who has recently graduated from the Physicians Assistant program at Des Moines University, and Jalynn, who is a Junior at Southwest Minnesota State University in the Education Program.
