My husband of 30 years, Christopher, is a chiropractor. We have three daughters: Alex, Eva and Ella. We have two dogs, Archie and Murphy . My route to teaching was a bit unconventional in that I originally graduated from Minnesota State University-Mankato (or Mankato State University back in my day) in 1993 with a degree in Business - Marketing and Management. I graduated in December 2010 from Minnesota State University-Marshall with my degree in Early Childhood Education. I earned my Masters from St. Marys University. I have been on staff with the Dawson-Boyd schools since 2011. One year as a Preschool Teacher and then Kindergarten beginning in the fall of 2012 for three years, First grade for three years, and returning to Kindergarten Fall of 2018.
