Meet Mrs. Clancy
Getting to know mrs. clancy
Hi! My name is Liz Clancy and I am the Gifted Education teacher for the Gasconade County R2 School District. This is my third year in Gifted Education. Previously, I taught 4th grade for six years, all in Gasconade County.
I earned my Bachelor's Degree from Maryville University in 2007. Before beginning my career, I took time off to get married and start a family. While raising small children, I went back to school at Webster University to earn my Master's Degree in Education and Innovation with an Emphasis in Global Sustainability. I started teaching 4th grade in the Fall of 2015 before applying for and receiving the Gifted teaching position in 2021. I completed my Gifted Certification through Mizzou.
In my time away from school, I like to read, camp, ride our ranger and travel with my family. My husband, Matt, and I have three kids. Our oldest is in middle school, while the younger two are still in elementary school. We also own and operate a restaurant in Rosebud. We are also sports fans - Blues Hockey, Cardinals Baseball and Chiefs Football.
