Google Play Store vs. Chrome Web Store
Google offers two ways to add exciting and useful additions to your chromebooks.
Google Play Store
You can visit play.google.com or use the icon located on the bottom bar of your chromebook. The play store is home of thousands of applications. Applications must be approved for download by Tech.
Chrome Web Store
The Chrome web store is the home of Google Extensions. You do not need approval to download Extensions so go crazy. Use the Apps icon on your tool bar or visit https://chrome.google.com/webstore/category/extensions?utm_source=chrome-ntp-icon

Google Meet
Here are some MUST HAVE extensions for using Google Meet
Grid View-Grid view makes it possible to see all of your students on-screen at one time.
Nod Reactions-The Nod Chrome extension adds in Facebook-like reactions. Students can clap, raise their hand, or LOL during your session without interrupting the speaker.
Dualless Window Splitter-Use Dualless to split your screen into two windows so that you can screen share AND monitor your class at the same time.
Push to Talk-This is a great extension for young students who struggle to push the mute/unmute button. When this extension is installed, you must press the spacebar to talk. Let go of the spacebar and your mic is muted again.
Highlight Mouse Cursor- Enable to the “highlight mouse cursor” accessibility feature on your Chromebook to add a red circle around your mouse.
Google Meet Enhancement Suit-Give your Google Meet super powers. Meet Enhancement Suite improves the Google Meet experience with a set of 20+ features and smart defaults.
