  • Awarded a $3,139.50 technology grant from the Phelps County Community Foundation- Roy W. and Mary L. Pearson Designated Fund, purchased equipment for live streaming sporting events.
  • Awarded $12,000 technology grant from Cargill, 2015, purchased iPads for Southern Valley Elementary.
  • Awarded $8,000 technology grant from Cameron Foundation, 2011, purchased MacBooks for classroom use.
  • Awarded $11,000 technology grant from Cameron Foundation, 2010, opened to other teachers, purchased a variety of technology for other classrooms.
  • Partnered with professors from Wyoming University and University of Nebraska-Kearney on the “Empowering Nebraska’s Youth Project,” funded through a grant from the NU Foundation 2008- 2012.
  • Purchased and runs snack vending machine as an ongoing fundraiser for Modern Problems/Digital Media class, 2010-present.
  • Worked with Oxford Area Foundation for technology grants for Modern Problems class, students awarded $3,500 in grants.
